About me

My name is Betka Jerabkova and I am a mom of three girls, whose births led me to my vocation of being a doula.

My first birth experience was a long medical-led hospital breech birth. The second birth was a short assisted home birth in Prague. My third birth was an assisted homebirth in New Zealand, a country where homebirths are a standard part of the system.

I started working as a birth doula in 2021 along with my training in the Czech Doula Association. Gradually I have also started to do lactation consultancy, process placentas, practice vaginal steaming, Access Bars, and use rebozo scarfs. I am also a part of All Mamas birth courses team.

I believe the process of bringing new life into this world is extraordinary and magical and I wish all women the best birth experience possible.

As a doula, I am there to support you throughout your pregnancy, birth, and postpartum on a physical, emotional, and informational level. I aim to reassure, empower, and nurture you and allow you to embrace the wisdom of your body. My role is to protect your journey and to ensure you feel safe, heard, and supported. I’ll encourage you to lean into your intuition. You are the expert on your body and what’s right for you.

I can offer my services in Prague and the Central Bohemian Region, I have experience with hospitals Bulovka, Podolí, Motol, Apolinář, Krč, Rakovník, Litoměřice, Hořovice, Roudnice, Mělník, Nymburk, Příbram.

I have accompanied over 80 mothers and their families on their journey to having a baby so far.

Choosing a doula is a quite personal thing so I offer a free 30 minutes intro (video) call to get to know each other and for you to ask all the questions.
