Rituals
Sacred ceremonies to honour your journey into motherhood — before birth and after.
Prenatal Ritual
The Prenatal Ritual (sometimes called a Blessing Way or Mother Blessing) is a beautiful ceremony held around the 37th week of pregnancy. Unlike a baby shower, this ritual is centred entirely on the mother — honouring her, strengthening her, and preparing her emotionally for birth.
The ritual typically includes elements such as belly painting or henna, bead ceremony (each guest brings a bead with a wish), foot washing, guided meditation, and words of encouragement from your circle of women.
Duration is approximately 3 hours. I help you plan, organise, and guide the entire ceremony.
Timing: Around the 37th week of pregnancy
Duration: Approximately 3 hours
Guests: Your chosen circle of women or just us two
Closing the Bones
Closing the Bones is an ancient postpartum ceremony rooted in Mexican and South American traditions. It is a deeply nurturing ritual that helps a new mother feel physically and emotionally "closed" after the opening experience of birth.
The ceremony involves a full-body rebozo massage — systematic wrapping and rocking of each part of the body, from head to feet. Combined with herbal tea, warm compresses, and a safe, held space, it creates a profound sense of being cared for and put back together.
This ritual can be done anytime postpartum — whether weeks, months, or even years after birth. It's never too late to close what was opened.
When: Anytime postpartum (there is no deadline)
Duration: 3–5 hours
Includes: Full-body rebozo wrapping, massage, herbal tea, and held space
Why Rituals Matter
Honouring Transition

Gathering your circle of women creates a support network that carries you through birth and beyond.
Emotional Healing
Rituals create space for processing emotions — releasing fears before birth, or integrating the birth experience after.
Feeling Held
In a world that rushes mothers back to "normal," rituals offer a pause — a moment to be held and cared for.
Ancient Wisdom
These practices have been used across cultures for centuries. They carry the wisdom of generations of women.
New Beginning
